Bali Accommodation

Bali is an intoxicating blend of stunning scenery, fabulous sandy beaches and fascinating culture, making it an incredibly popular tourist destination for holidaymakers from all over the world, not least Australia. Given the obvious appeal a Bali holiday, it should come as no surprise to discover that when it comes to finding somewhere to stay, Bali accommodation is as varied as the island itself.

The first decision you need to make when considering Bali hotels is where you wish to be located for the duration of your stay. Many tourists to Bali go for the fantastic beaches and seaside culture of spots such as Kuta, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Seminyak and Legian and all of these places have more than enough hotels, resorts and hostels to suit everyone's tastes and budgets.

If you are looking for a cheap Bali hotel, these main tourist centres are the best places to start your search, with plenty of hostels, backpackers and rustic cottages to choose from. However, it's not all cheap but cheerful by the beach. Bali accommodation also includes numerous mid range hotels as well as some truly top-notch resorts and many internationally renowned chains such as Mercure, Westin, Holiday Inn, Novotel, Hyatt and InterContinental. If you don't fancy the familiar comfort of a well-known hotel, perhaps you could try one of the many wonderful locally run Bali hotels or guesthouses. However, for many, Bali resorts are synonymous with luxury, high-level service, wonderful hospitality and beautiful décor. Many of the top Bali hotels have gorgeous spas and beauty retreats within their walls, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase, ‘a relaxing holiday'.

If you are in search of a break from sun and sea, Ubud is a great place to book a hotel. Ubud is a real gem of a town, nestled in the verdant rainforest and rippling rice paddies that pepper the countryside of Bali. It is famous for its skilled craftsmen, lovely temples, great shopping and restaurants and laid-back atmosphere. It's a great place to stay for a few days, with some superb Bali hotels and resorts to choose from as well as some incredibly welcoming local bungalows and cottages.

The increasing interest in Bali travel and vacations of all types has resulted a rise in the number of Bali packages available. A great way to do your research and find the best Bali deals is to spend a bit of time online looking for special offers. There are a huge number of online travel websites worth checking and many have an enormous range of Bali hotels to make your selection from., with the added incentive of giving discounts if you book online. The great thing about many of these Internet travel sites is that star ratings, descriptions of facilities, photos and even reviews from previous guests are all there at the touch of a button. So if you fancy a Bali package for the whole family, a cheap Bali hotel to base yourself at whilst you do some surfing, or a luxury Bali resort for a romantic escape, you're sure to find just what you want.
